THE SECRET REVEALED
Much is being said about Rhonda Byrne's book, "The Secret." The terms "universe" and "law of attraction" are becoming some of the more widely searched and used terms on the internet. Most have either read the book which is said to have highlighted these concepts or have seen the movie or maybe even heard an audio edition of it. After being exposed to it myself, I see why it has become so widely acclaimed. It's a very "fantastic" read, but I would like to deal with an understanding, better yet, my understanding of the universal law of attraction and perhaps what we may have missed in "The Secret."
The universal Law of Attraction basically states that like attracts like. It deals with vibration and energy. If we are not familiar with vibratory energy, we can get a slight understanding from quantum physics. Quantum physics states that everything in existence, material or non-material, at its core is comprised of sub-atomic energy. Energy has a frequency or vibration. So when we speak of attracting something, we speak of being able to resonate with the same vibratory frequency of the thing we desire. However, it takes a strong desire to achieve this.
What I understand about the Law of Attraction is that it was never meant to be about everyone becoming rich. It's more about being in alignment with your divine purpose. We all have a purpose for being here. Once we have connected with that purpose, we come to experience the bounties and abundance for what ever we are here for. When we are connected to that purpose, we get in the flow state and we experience the sheer bliss and happiness that is God's gift. That's when we begin to see things "manifesting" almost as effortless as "The Secret" leads us to believe. But it requires us to connect with the more noble and divine purpose for our being here...not trying to get rich.
If you have ever followed those who teach the law of attraction, the essence of what they are trying to teach you is how to vibrate to the higher vibrations of your desire. How do you do that? You do that, basically by being happy in every moment possible. Happiness is the key to it all. It unlocks the doors to all the mysteries of the law of attraction. How do you stay happy, live a purpose connected, purpose driven life. To me, this is THE SECRET.
